There is also a new accessory to control lights without a smartphone or smart home hub.

Philips Hue smart lights are one of the most popular options for any smart home, and for good reason. Along with being easy to use and compatible with all major smart home protocols, there are lights for any part of your home.

And the lineup is getting even better. Let’s take a look.

As announced in a press release, Signify has announced a number of new smart lighting options.

The Philips Hue Go portable table lamp is one of the most interesting new products.

Designed for indoor and outdoor use, it offers a silicon grip making it easier to carry. It also has a button allowing you to cycle through preset lighting scenes. To add even more fun to a party, you’ll be able to use the portable lamp (along with all other Hue lights) and sync with tunes from Spotify.

The built-in battery provides up to 48 hours of use on a single charge. When it’s time to recharge, you can use the included charging base. It will retail for $159.99 and arrive at the end of summer 2022.

Arriving in mid-July 2022 and retailing for $349.99, the Philips Hue Signe gradient floor lamp is designed for the bedroom and offers a slender profile and natural wood-toned base.

Launching with the lamp will be a new Sunrise wake-up style in the Hue companion app for iOS or Android. The effect will mimic the sun appearing over the horizon with a transition from blue to soft orange light. The effect is optimized for all gradient lamps.

And while Hue lights can be controlled with a number of smart devices, there is also a new hardware switch to better personalize your home. The Philips Hue Tap dial switch features four buttons and can control lights in up to three separate rooms or zones.

You’ll also be able to dim your lights by turning the dial. The switch will retail for $49.99 and arrives on June 22, 2022.

The Philips Hue lineup is far from perfect, as we examined when looking at some reasons we love and hate the smart lighting system.

But the company has done a great job continuing to add great new products. If you’re willing to spend a bit more, Hue lights are a great way to go all-in with smart lights for your home. And the new additions provide even more options to a full lineup.
