At IKEA there are two innovations in the smart home range of the popular Swedish furniture chain.Firstly, the group introduced a new TRÅDFRI light source.This is called "TRÅDFRI LED bulb E27 806 lm".This is another lamp with an E27 socket, as is already available in various versions from IKEA.The new model differs from the previous ones in that it has a transparent head.The circular LED illuminant can be seen through the transparent clear glass.So far, this was only the case with the filament lights in retro design.The classic light sources, on the other hand, all have a cover made of frosted glass.The new transparent E27 light bulb is significantly more expensive at 12.99 euros compared to the 8 euros of the milky version.For one or the other, however, it may still be worth buying because it is still affordable and may look better in one or the other lamp than the frosted glass bulbs.The model, which is also dimmable, shines up to 806 lumens brightly. The light color can be set between 2200 Kelvin (cozy warm white), 2700 Kelvin (warm white) and 4000 Kelvin (neutral white) in the familiar way via app and co.On the other hand, it is less pleasing that IKEA has significantly increased the price of the SYMFONISK bookshelf loudspeakers that appeared at the beginning of the year.While the second generation started at the same price as its predecessor, which was 100 euros, the price has now been increased by around 30 percent.Accordingly, the cost of the Wi-Fi speaker, which is compatible with Sonos and AirPlay 2 and can be placed standing up, lying down or hanging on the wall, is now 129 euros.
